Who knew Celebrex works for migraines?

I have been fighting one of my worst headaches/migranes ever all day! I really did try everything to get some relief… I laid on the couch moaning in pain as I waited for Tylenol and Aleve to kick in.

I am seriously loving the fact that my migraine is totally gone now after taking Celebrex. Apparently, it is prescribed off-label for migraine prevention in people. It was the only thing that stopped my migraine today – I only wish I had taken it the moment I woke up, instead of trying Aleve and Tylenol. I had to wait for 8 hours after taking the Aleve since you can’t Celebrex at the same time as another NSAID.

I was originally taking it to prevent the side-effects from my Avonex shots. So, I was only taking it once a week. Well, now since I stopped my Avonex, I have leftover Celebrex, which I took for the first time today for something totally unrelated to my Avonex headaches.

Exercise the ms away

I’m trying to exercise and diet my Multiple Sclerosis away into remission. I am feeling better and more energetic with better diet and exercise overall.

I have pseudo-Swanked before a few times, but never stayed rigid to it. I am now determined to be strict with it.

I started Swanking today. Made a superb oven baked chicken tonight – no fat, no oil. I already have my Swank friendly lunch packed for work tomorrow.

I completed a 30 minute workout tonight! I actually accomplished 200 crunches and am looking to get up to 500 a night. Also, I’m working on getting some legs that I can proudly show off this summer. If this keeps going well, I may try my hand at jogging on a treadmill and maybe a bit of P90X stuff. Who knows?

My right eye is bothering me… again

I hope it’s just a tiny hiccup in my MS following my flu… The IV steroids are working great though. Yes, it’s unfortunate, but I’m on another round for an Optic Neuritis relapse.

I’m already much better! Now, if only I could sleep – steroids keep me up and wired. I’m just about to resort to taking Ambien.

The 3 things you definitely need when doing IV steroids are Ambien, Pepcid, and Winto-Green Lifesavers (to keep the taste of pennies in your mouth away).

I have to try to go to bed now.
Good night…
