How exciting is it to think about that! I’m nervously organizing things in my house to make the transition from Mom and Dad being gone for 2-3 months in Chicago a little easier for my mother and mother-in-law. My dad is currently traveling to Poland because my Babcia is slowly passing. I would do anything to be there if I could, but I know she would want me to move forward and get this MonSter taken from me forever!
So many emotions in my head tonight. I am trying to go to sleep earlier and wake up earlier, to get into a more natural sleeping pattern, but it is so difficult with the daytime fatigue and the nighttime insomnia. I took my Ambien about 30 minutes ago and it feels as though it is working. Hopefully of to sleep I go to try to conquer another day of cleaning and organizing tomorrow.
After denial #3 I should be getting approved by Medicare, my secondary insurance. I am so happy I got Part B at the last minute on Dec. 30th so that I could start my coverage on Jan 1st.
And just so everyone knows, it was Medical Mutual of Ohio that has denied the treatment.

Steroids are awesome. For me anyway. It’s as though I feel closer to “normal” after I get an infusion. Granted I can’t sleep for three days, but my pain is mostly gone and my walking looks and feels better.
As far as Northwestern goes, the pre-authorization request from Chicago was finally received by my insurance company. So, now it’s just a wait and see thing. Once we hear back then I should be getting my dates to start Mobilization.
My fundraiser has been going incredibly well! I am truly amazed as to how many wonderful people I have supporting me through this, financially, but most importantly emotionally. Not having to worry so much about the cost is the best Christmas and 40th birthday present ever! If I start mobilizationin January then my stemmie birthday will possibly be on my actual 40th birthday. Kinda cool!
